Kurt’s journey in business, construction, and real estate began at just age 13. His father tasked him with building a shed on an overgrown, sloped hill. To his father’s surprise, when he returned a week later, it was not only level but fully completed—and looked professional. The neighbors were so impressed that they asked if he could build sheds for them as well. Kurt continued honing his construction skills by helping his parents renovate and sell homes, and he took on part-time construction projects throughout high school and college to fund his higher education. He attended the University of Maryland and Georgetown University, combining his analytical mindset with hands-on experience and earning a degree in Biochemistry from Maryland.

Kurt later founded Handyman Masters, a construction company that achieved the prestigious 10-year A+ Rating Plaque from the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Through this venture, he built and renovated residential properties, purchased, built, and sold single-family homes, and developed multi-family condo buildings across the DC area—all while cultivating a stellar reputation as a trusted, honest contractor known for reliability, transparency, and exceptional craftsmanship.

Over the years, Kurt recognized a growing need for support during life’s toughest transitions: probate, divorce, and other life challenges. In 2024, he obtained his real estate license, followed by earning the Certified Probate Expert (CPE) designation in 2025.
